Frighten All The Children With Vampire Contact Lenses

by Charlie Cory

Vampire contact lenses are special effects cosmetic contact lenses. You can wear these contact lenses for adding a realistic and scary touch to your Halloween preparation, or just for scaring your colleagues at work! You can also use these lenses for theatrical purposes, so if you are an aspiring actor or actress, having theatrical contact lenses in your make up locker could stand you in good stead. These lenses will definitely get you noticed.

Vampire contact lenses are not restricted for use by people with poor eyesight. When purchased over the counter, they do not have any prescription attached to them, so they will not affect your vision at all. That being said however, if you have an optical problem such as astigmatism, then these types of cosmetic contact lenses will have no effect, so if you need lenses such as these and you have poor eyesight, then you may need to get custom lenses made, which could prove to be expensive.

Vampire contact lenses are different from many of the other coloured contact lenses that you get on the market. They are printed, not tinted, so they would be considered custom contact lenses. Regardless of the natural colour of your eyes, vampire contact lenses will give you a stunning and surreal look.

I will be preaching to the converted when I talk about the cleaning and hygiene surrounding the use of contact lenses, when I talk about people who wear contact lenses on a daily basis. Those who have not worn contact lenses before, or have not worn them for a long time should seek the advice of an eye acre professional first. You should get your eyes checked routinely anyway, and it wouldn’t hurt to ask about the suitability of your eyes to wearing contact lenses. You also need to be aware of how to clean and look after your contact lenses as well as the strict hygiene you should employ when handling your lenses.

Good hygiene is essential for contact lens wearers, and those wearing cosmetic lenses will be no different. If you follow the proper guidelines for contact lens care, you will prevent infection and damage to the eye. Always make sure that your hands are clean before inserting or removing the lenses, always clean the lenses before storing them, and never share your lenses with anyone else. Equally, never borrow anyone else’s lenses either. Eye infections can be very serious, and two sure ways to catch an infection are lack of hygiene and sharing lenses.

It would also be wise to watch others who also use vampire contact lenses. If you ever encounter anyone at a party or anywhere else that looks the same with our without their vampire contact lenses, then be very wary, turn and run like mad!
